And The World Continues To Burn

Where to start…
I’ve been away for a while.  I kept swearing I would write more; made promises since broken.  But much has happened since I last posted my own material.  Much, both in my own life and in the world.  I’ve yet again moved, and started a completely different job within the military which has far removed me from my beloved position as a sniper.  Its an invaluable position that I am glad to have and a rare occurrence for someone of my background to be involved in but it comes at the cost of having had to be away for a little while and to uproot my family farther away from the arctic than I preferred.  The skills I will come away from this position with will be those that will certainly make me a “force multiplier” as the term is commonly used it will bring me to an all new level of what people call “survivalists”.  That being said, the majority of what I am doing holds a classification, so if you were waiting for a big reveal or something, sorry.  I don’t get to talk about a lot of what goes on.  Which is part of the reason I haven’t written lately as well.  I’m still finding the balance of what I can discuss and can’t and prefer to err on the side of caution.  As time goes on, more articles will come, but be patience will be a virtue when it comes to that.

And the world keeps burning…
Since I posted last we have a new POTUS.  I’ll go ahead and get this remark said; at least it wasn’t Clinton.  Now that I have that vile creature out of the way, lets get back to shit that sorta matters.  Trump.  Well, he’s a bit of a mess.  I’m not thrilled about him.  But he’s what we got and unlike a lot of people right now, I’d actually like to see him be a successful President.  I can’t imagine why you wouldn’t want him to be, but then again, people just like to watch the world burn sometimes.  One amazing thing I have noticed is that any thing that man (or anyone associated with him) does can and will be turned in to a negative story almost immediately.  He may whine about the media, but shit, he’s not wrong though.  Between CNN and MSNBC he’s been a punching bag from day one.  Rachel Maddow of MSNBC has gone off the fucking deep end and gone full Ahab chasing the great white whale to try and discredit him; to the point she has ruined any shred of credibility she had.  Her attempt to release his tax form from 2005 ended in an utter failure and became a non-issue which ultimately gave support where it was meant to hurt.  Talk about embarrassing.  It actually showed that Ol’ Commie Sanders, paid much less in taxes (by percentage) than Trump.  Socialist, huh?  Still affords that third home that none of the people he claims to be lifting up will ever come close to getting.  He actually sounds exactly like most socialist examples in that regard.  Slightly ironic.

Speaking of socialism and communism.  I’ve been seeing a resurgence of the hammer and sickle banner as of late.  It has become the battle colors of the Antifa (anti-fascist) movement which has risen up in response to Trump’s election.17629626_407760299591978_4330296360130308432_n.

As you can see here they clearly boast their socialist pride, while decrying fascism.  I would go ahead and say that most of them have a slightly (greatly) skewed view of what fascism entails and the history behind those colors they wave.  So let’s clarify for the masses here.
“Following Lenin’s death in 1924, a collective leadership (troika) and a brief power struggle, Joseph Stalin came to power in the mid-1920s. Stalin suppressed all political opposition to his rule, committed the state ideology to Marxism–Leninism (which he created), and initiated a centrally planned command economy. As a result, the country underwent a period of rapid industrialization and collectivization which laid the foundation for its victory in World War II and postwar dominance of Eastern Europe. Stalin also fomented political paranoia, and conducted the Great Purge to remove opponents of his from the Communist Party through the mass arbitrary arrest of many people (military leaders, Communist Party members, and ordinary citizens alike) who were then sent to correctional labor camps (gulags) or sentenced to death.” – Wikipedia.
Now its very important to note at this point, the difference in definitions of fascism by who you ask.  First I’ll show you what Google has to offer:
“an authoritarian and nationalistic right-wing system of government and social organization.
in general use) extreme right-wing, authoritarian, or intolerant views or practice.”

and now Merriam-Webster:
“a political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition.”

Let’s look at the major difference here.  “Right-wing” appears twice in Google’s definition, however, the more reliable source doesn’t mention anything about political alignment.  If you by chance take out anything you see that dictates which side of the political spectrum it falls on, all of the definitions describe Soviet Russia pretty definitively, which ironically for the Antifa’s, and their actions thus far, makes them the thing they say they are against. Hmmm….  Maybe their thinking like “anti-hero” where they are still heroes, but just in their own buck the system way?  Burning signs that say “Free Speech”, assaulting people who have different political beliefs than you, starting riots to keep a person from speaking publicly?  Sorry guys, that’s some shit fascists do.  To make matters worse, one of the big cries of afoul against Trump is his supposed collusion with Russia.  Let’s pause for a second on that.  We have a group, who waves an old Russian flag (which is to many akin to the American Confederate Flag in semblance of oppression), fussing about a man who may have worked with the Russians, while saying they are against fascism, while doing what fascists would do, who were against people like the Bundy’s when they stood their ground and when they took Malheur NWR, but stood against the government when they occupied DAPL… Wait… What in the actual fuck is going on here?
No really.  If you’re Antifa, you’d might as well just punch yourself in the face.  It makes about as much sense as anything else you’ve done thus far.  Apparently you guys also forgot that before Hitler got carried away with his thirst for more power, Soviet Russia and Nazi Germany (you know, those guys you keep comparing everyone who ISN’T Antifa to) were actually allies in their sacking of Poland.  Awkward…
But it doesn’t stop there!  Some Antifas have even broken into the threshold of being racists too!17554046_877893522348544_2617871668487450871_nBet this was made by a white person too; because what other than that would keep with the antifa tradition of not making a bit of fucking sense?

All while this is going on, I keep seeing hashtags and protest signs that say “Make America Hate Again”.  An obvious play on the MAGA slogan Trump used during his campaign, but twisted to make it seem as though Trump is the central cause of all the divisiveness and anger in America lately.  Like we were on some noble path during Obama’s tenure as POTUS.  Its as if everything prior to 2017 just didn’t occur.  Like there weren’t already racial tensions brewing.  Like there wasn’t anger against cops.  Like there weren’t riots in the streets.  Like stores weren’t burned down.  Its amazing that all of that mess can be projected on to a person like he was the sudden cause for years and years of anger and resentment.  It highlights the childish petulance of people who can’t see beyond their own pissy attitudes.  Making it even worse is that despite whatever action he takes, good, bad, indifferent, they can’t leave it at just attacking his politics or his leadership.  People have gone as far as making comments about his family as well.
Spinola-TWAnd this gem…

For fucks sake.  You have a professional and successful woman who still takes time to be a mother to her children and you salty cunts want to rag on her because of her relationship to her father?  And you’re going to talk shit on Trump’s 11 year old kid?!  You oughta be punched in the junk for that.  You bunch of fucking muppets!  How’s about you keep your pissy little discontent focused on Trump’s politics if you gotta fuss about something, instead of taking low shots at kids?  That shit is just sad.

None of this goes without recompense, however.  Recently the Boston Antifa FB page was hacked and smeared ear to ear with Pepe the Frog, which has somehow become a symbol of racism to them.  As well, 4Chan users went through great lengths to troll Shia Lebouf when he began his “He will not divide us” campaign.   These guys went through the trouble of tracking a video feed to a field in Tennessee by using everything from meteorology to flight patterns of airplanes to pin point and remove a flag with the slogan from its post, and replace it with a Pepe the Frog.  To which I simply have to applaud their ingenuity and question why Lebouf decided that “He will not divide us” was an appropriate message.  Especially since his antics as of late have been part of the issue of divisiveness as opposed to creating solidarity and harmony.  He created a self fulfilling prophecy within it; Trump would not be the divider, but rather the people who can’t help but hate him are taking the reigns on that.

Its simply amazing how upside down everything has become and the world just simply continues to burn.

Impending Doom

Seeing as election day is tomorrow and given the candidates that we have in the lead, I have this gnawing, incessant feeling that life in America is going to drastically and radically change for the worse in the near future.  I’ve been keeping fairly quiet on here because the outcome of tomorrow could mean a lot of changes in how words are perceived and the repercussions involved with speaking your mind.  Lets just say, stocking up on ammo right about now, probably not the worst decision which-ever way things turn out.
Regardless of that, the current situation has me thinking over the skills I’ve picked up through the years that would benefit myself and my family in the event that my worst fears are realized from this election.  It put me in the mood to do a little research into a few topics and well… sheepishly I must admit research turned into “what dystopian movies can I watch”, and from there I came across an article which I felt important enough to share.
I am fully aware that a great many of you who actually read my blog are probably here for the gritty details of the skills I know.  Too bad on this one; that’s not what I wanted to talk about.  What I’m more concerned with at this particular moment in time and what I hope to impart isn’t the technical skills associated with survival in bleak situations, but rather the aspect of humanity that we have already begun to lose even before the fall.  The article that I mentioned is about the movie, “The Book of Eli”.  It was one of my favorite dystopian movies I’ve come across, and while I don’t necessarily get down with the religious aspect of it, I do appreciate the message that religion is a control and that misused it can lead people to do unspeakable acts. book_of_eli
The article I had read was posted on “Off the Grid News” and it discusses the movie, its situation and its relevance.  Rather than having me steal their thunder, please read it for yourself here:
I was especially fond of the line from the article that read, “While the world around him blusters, and swears, and steals, and kills, Eli quietly remains focused on restoring some semblance of humanity everywhere he goes”.  I think that one statement should carry forward more so than anything.  Be like Eli in that regards.  People are generally shitty.  Don’t become one of the shitty people that make the world shitty.
I would wrap this up by telling you to go vote, like that dead horse hasn’t been beaten enough, but honestly, I don’t think it will make much difference whether you do or don’t vote at this point.  I don’t like conspiracies much, but there’s been enough stuff go on lately to tell me that our votes don’t much matter towards who actually wins tomorrow.  Either way I think America loses this election.

Always around, never found.

Njardarheimr Viking Village Becomes a Reality in 2017 – See the Drawings

Looks pretty awesome! I might have to work up some funds to go take a sabatical and check this out.

Njardarheimr Viking Village Gudvangen

In May 2017, phase one of Njardarheimr Viking Village is ready. The construction starts in August and the village will consist of about 20 small and large timber buildings – totaling 1,500 square meters when completed.

In December 2014, ThorNews wrote about the strong-willed Vikings led by Chieftain Georg Olafr Reydarsson Hansen:

The four Vikings who had shown up in the Municipal Council in Aurland in Sogn og Fjordane county got the answer they have been waiting for: After two decades, the dream of building a Viking village in Gudvangen becomes a reality.

Poison A or Poison B

Unless you’ve worked your way off the grid, in which case you’re probably not reading this to begin with,  then you’re fully aware that it is political season.  If you don’t have a fervent excitement about voting this year, then well, you’re probably not a moron.  You’ve basically been handed two glasses filled with poison and told to drink one.  Both have the potential to be incredibly dangerous, but who is to say which the more dangerous of the two actually is?   One group of people is going to tell you that poison A is going to kill you slower which means you’ll have longer to live.  The other group is going to tell you that poison B won’t be as painful as it kills you quicker.  Both sides are going to argue their preference of poison; which will ultimately leave you dead regardless of which one you choose to ingest.
But what if there was another option?  What if you didn’t have to drink either one?  What if you took your eyes aware from your impending doom long enough to realize there’s a glass of clear liquid sitting on the table across the room?  What if you smelled it and there was no pungent odor.  What if you shook it and it remained clear?  What if there was someone trying to tell you that its water, but you can barely make out the echo of the words between the thunderous voracity of the A and B crowds arguing about which poison you should drink?  Would you tell them to shut up and try to listen to what the other person had to say or would you continue to believe what they had to say about their poison?

Now assume that there were a bunch of people in a room together and they all had to decide between poison A or poison B and which ever was the majority was what you all had to drink.  Yet you still knew about the glass of water on the table.  Would you allow them all to decide on the popular poison or would you try to garner as much attention to the water that you could be drinking instead?

Right now you are all being asked to pick between poisons.  It is well known that both Trump and Clinton are not good candidates for the presidency.  It has gotten to the point that you can not hear a viable argument for why you should vote for one without mentioning stopping the other.  In the wake of both the RNC and DNC there has been even further prodding to kill yourselves with one poison so that we all don’t have to drink the other poison.

Heads you lose.  Heads you lose.

Within twenty minutes I’ve had two articles pop up from left-wing sources formerly supporting Sanders who are now on the Clinton band wagon because they are afraid of what will happen if Trump gets elected.  The audacity to these articles is that they fully expect you to give up any hope of getting people to drink the water and want you to drink their poison before you’re forced to drink the poison of the other side.  One of these articles came from the ever popular race-baiter, Shaun King, who as of May 27th was stating that Hillary should drop from the race amid her email scandal (seen here).
Yet, having written that two months ago, he has now decided that there is no other option for him but to drink the Clinton Kool-ade and toe the party line to prevent the boogyman from taking over (seen here).

So why the flippy floppy from the bastion of liberalism?  Why jump ship when he so clearly states that he actually supports drinking water in his article?  Its because Shaun King, like most people, is afraid and a coward.  He is so afraid that he may have to drink a less appealing poison that he is willing to put his choice of poison to his lips and prepare to take a huge, deathly gulp.  The sad part, is that many of you are willing little lemmings to follow suite to unquestioningly drink the poison of the chosen political party and ignore the people handing out free cups of water.

This article has, thus far, primarily focused on the bandwagoning of liberals, but fear not (punny, given the context) conservatives, you are equally as obnoxious in your efforts to stop Clinton.  In fact, that has been the main source of rally cries behind Trump long before the Democratic Party fell to shit and started eating itself with scandal.  #Neverhillary has been a thing for over two years now.  I know, because I called this from way out and was on board with Clinton never seeing the Whitehouse again.  I have been a supporter of that movement for a while.  Unfortunately, you ignant sum-bitches chose to back a clown shoe of a person to face off with her and now there is also the late-blooming #Nevertrump in response to it.

Don’t kid yourselves, I don’t buy into the overt racism lines that people try to attribute to him.  I know what he said and the context to it, which is left out of every democrat’s mouth when they quote him with a cherry picked sentence.  But listen to man.  He says absolutely NOTHING.  There is nothing informative.  There is nothing substantial.  Its just words that lead no where and are enough to get cheers rolling.  Its fluff.  All of it.  As opposed to when I listen to Clinton and everything I hear sounds like an absolute lie.  They both suck.

Clinton was relatively unsuccessful in every position she has held and has been marred with scandal after scandal to finally culminate in the evident corruption involving the FBI director who declared that despite all of the obvious mishandling of information she has done he sees no reason to prosecute her.  Trump, now apparently has also urged a foreign agency to hack into the Democratic National Convention emails and to use their classified documents against them as well.  Both of these alone are worth the title of traitor.  If I, the common man, did either of these my new forwarding address would be Ft Levinworth, KS.  But since they are both elitists guess what’s not going to happen?  If you guessed anything, well, you’re probably right.  So where does that leave us.  Both poisons clearly suck and will kill you, even by their own supporters accounts, so what now?  What about the water?

You have a unique chance in history to stand up and speak your conscience when it comes to the future of this country.  There are, and always have been, other options out there.  Our government isn’t a two party system; in fact, its widely discussed that the founders never intended for there to even be political parties at all.  The only people that benefit from having you believe that your only options are A and B are the two political parties that are in power themselves.  They already fight between themselves to maintain control of power, why would they ever want you to think you had any other choice but the options that lead to them being in charge?  Every single vote for an independent, libertarian, green partier, or ect is just less power and authority the left and the right maintains over you, the common citizen.  Stop letting them dictate your options.  Stand strong.  Look at the issues at hand.  Find a candidate that you align to and whether you feel they have any single chance of winning, hold true to what you feel.  Be brave in the face of being diminished, discouraged, and belittled.  The cronies of a two party, poisoned system are all ways going to try and play you for the fearful coward.  They want you to give up your morals to bolster their power and to get their way and will say anything to get you to do as such.  Whether playing on your fears, your hatred, or even attempting to ensnare your compassion; their goals aren’t in your best interest but in their own.

One could ask, “but isn’t that what you’re doing as you promote not voting for Trump or Clinton”?  No. It’s not.  If at the end of the day you want to vote for them, honestly and truly, fuckin’ do it man!  If you don’t, that’s great too!  But stop being controlled by fear.  I know who and why I am voting.  I am and have been decided for a while.  I, however, to show my sincerity on the matter, am not pushing my choice on anyone.  That’s not what this post is about, but rather to ensure that the thought is earwormed that you do not have to settle for drinking poison because you are worried about which way the mob is going to go.  You do not have to vote out of fear, but rather vote your conscience and be content that you made it known on that day, that regardless of the outcome, you stood by your values and beliefs and have refrained from compromising your integrity.  That is all I ask, regardless of who gets your vote.
